Welcome to Queen Repairs (ABN: [13 190 129 202), operated by Giacomo Trezza as a sole trader (“Queen Repairs”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website www.queenrepairs.com.au, and to any services you obtain from us, including repair, servicing, and related work on video game consoles, controllers, and other electronic devices (“Device(s)”).

Services
1.1 We provide repair, diagnostic, and maintenance services for video game consoles, accessories, and related electronic devices.
1.2 All services are provided with due care and skill, in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Quotes, Deposits & Payment

2.1 We will provide an estimate or quote for repair costs before commencing work.

2.2 A deposit may be required before work begins. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

2.3 Final payment is due on collection of the Device, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.4 All prices include GST where applicable.

Risk, Handling & Data Loss

3.1 You acknowledge that repair work may involve opening, disassembling, or soldering components, which carries inherent risks.

3.2 You are responsible for backing up all data before submitting your Device. We are not liable for any loss of data, files, or software.

3.3 We will handle Devices with reasonable care, but we are not liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our control (e.g. theft, fire, flood, courier mishandling).

Warranties
4.1 Repairs and replacement parts provided by Queen Repairs are covered under our Warranty Policy.
4.2 Please refer to our full Warranty Policy at www.queenrepairs.com.au/warranty for details regarding warranty periods, coverage, and exclusions.
4.3 Nothing in this clause affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Consumer Rights
5.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law.
5.2 You are entitled to a remedy if services are not provided with due care and skill, are not fit for purpose, or are not delivered within a reasonable time.

Uncollected Devices & Disposal
6.1 Once your Device has been repaired, or if we determine that it cannot be repaired (or that repair is not economical), we will notify you that it is ready for collection.
6.2 If you fail to collect your Device within 60 days of notification, it will be treated as an Uncollected Device under the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW).
6.3 In accordance with the Act, we reserve the right to:

Charge reasonable storage fees from the date of completion or notification;

Issue a final notice giving you a set period to collect the Device; and

If the Device remains uncollected after the notice period, dispose of it by sale, recycling, or destruction, in compliance with the law.
6.4 Any disposal proceeds (after deducting outstanding repair and storage fees) will be handled in accordance with NSW law.
6.5 You release us from all liability once a Device is lawfully disposed of under this clause, whether the Device was repaired, unrepaired, or deemed irreparable.

Website Use
.1 All content on our website (logos, images, text, designs) is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
7.2 You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written consent.
7.3 You may use the website only for lawful purposes and must not interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access.

Privacy & Communication
8.1 We collect personal information (name, email, phone number) for the purpose of providing our services.

8.3 You consent to us contacting you by phone, SMS, or email regarding your Device and services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:
Re-supplying the services, or
Refunding the cost of services provided.
9.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill).

Changes to Terms
